Growing Local Business and Artists
One PacificCoastl believes that locally-owned businesses are cornerstones of strong community development and that local artists help make communities vibrant and alive.
We provide several resources for business owners, aspiring entrepreneurs, and local artists. At One PacificCoast Foundation, we are committed to supporting local businesses and artists with our programs and purchases, and we provide public education to encourage others to do the same.
We work in tandem with One PacificCoast Bank, FSB to help independent businesses and artists grow and prosper. While the bank provides banking services and takes the time to make loans to local businesses and non-profit organizations that others might not, the foundation offers several programs.
One PacificCoast Foundation is committed to helping other emerging communities develop similar programs as we continue to grow.
Workshops and Events – One PacificCoast Foundation provides workshops and events to meet the needs of local entrepreneurs, artists and businesses owners. Vendors on the Unwrapped! website receives training on website development, graphics and online marketing techniques. OPCF also hosts events that bring new resources to Oakland businesses, such as the breakfast we co-hosted with Inner City Advisors introducing the B Corporation concept to Oakland businesses. This presentation local business owners how to work with B-Lab to get certified as a socially-responsible business.
